WEEK OF 6/22/2014

I received a call from Mr. Bianchi to give positive feedback on Jason and his trainee Mike.

He stated that they both came in with a positive can do attitude, went over the plan before starting work and then began to work efficiently to complete the task.

Mr. Bianchi went on to say that after they completed the work they stayed to show him the system and how it worked and did not leave until they were satisfied that he understood how to work it.

I can’t tell you how outstanding the experience I had yesterday, with the technician and technician’s supervisor. (Technician Nick Skaggs and technician supervisor Tim Stacy). I had an ongoing, intermittent issue with one of my DIRECTV receivers. Nick explained and then executed everything he said he was going to do. You have some great people working for you and it makes me want to get the service I have just because of the quality of employees and service.

Jason Ott is by far the best technician that has ever serviced our DIRECTV. He is most knowledgeable of his job, and what needs to be done to correct the problems he encounters. I offered to keep the old cable line because the new one was going to be extremely difficult to replace, but he wanted to install a new one in order to give us a better picture. Jason brought a newer tech with him to help with the job. They both went above and beyond to please us and leave us completely satisfied with their service. Jason left the newer tech here when the job was complete and told the newer tech to go over how to use the programs and answer any questions that we had. They were both completely professional and the type of people you want to have in your home to do this type of work. They were both courteous when it came to walking on the light colored carpets in our home and offered to cover their work boots with boot covers, which they did. If ever we encounter problems again, I will be asking for these two technicians to return. Most respectfully…Sammy Dance

WEEK OF 6/15/2014

I’d just like to tell you about my DIRECTV experience today. Aaron Bowles was my DIRECTV service tech, and he was absolutely OUTSTANDING!!! BY FAR the best tech that I’ve had do work in my house EVER!! He was on time, called before he got here to let me know when he would arrive, showed his company ID to verify his identity, showed up looking professional, came in, did his job, and got the new DIRECTV box hooked up quickly and efficiently. Then, as we were talking, I told him about the problems I have anytime I try to hook up my wireless router(ok, basically ANY electronic device!!!), so he hooked up the wireless box, and now I can get MOVIES on demand and all the other entertainment options offered from this amazing piece of technology!! I’ll never leave my house again!!! hahaha – - He then went back and made sure the area where he had worked was clean, and moved the furniture back for me! If you can, you need to clone this man – he was done with the WHOLE process in a little over an HOUR AND this was on a SUNDAY!!! He was pleasant and professional and really took great pride in his job, a trait that isn’t seen much these days!! You really have a top notch employee here, he deserves a raise, he is the Tech that all other techs should try to emulate. Good job, DIRECTV, you have a Great Tech here, don’t let him get away!!

Jim was my installer, and I have to say he was great. Took care of all my needs and questions. He showed up on time and was very polite with me and my family. he was fast and there were no problems or questions he did not handle. I would recommend this installer to any and all jobs possible. MY FAMILY AND I WERE VERY HAPPY. He went above and beyond to help. It is fathers day and he was here instead of with family and I think that just shows the person he is. Thank you so much. Carlos, my installer, was excellent. He was the most professional installer I have ever dealt with. I was in the business for 10 years, and in business as a General Contractor for 20 years. I’m no stranger to customer service and you are blessed to have an installer of that caliber. The small snag that occurred, his disconnect of Comcast was my fault and my request. Verizon told me their installer was in route and I wanted to pack up Comcast equipment to call for immediate cancellation. Verizon still won’t explain why they weren’t here, but I don’t believe it was Carlos’ fault.

In these days of apathy, it is refreshing to receive service from a courteous professional technician. May 2, 2014, your technician, Farrakhan Cato, supplied service to me. It must be noted he displayed an exception to many technicians. I was recently discharged from the hospital with congestive heart failure. Farrakhan Cato was not only gracious but displayed concern I understood. Farrakhan Cato performed above and beyond the requisite. It should be noted that his performance was enhanced by his outstanding personality. Indubitably, Farrakhan Cato is an asset to your establishment and deserves a commendation. My sincere wishes that you and your staff enjoy a safe and healthy summer.

I am Cris Benes, Seth’s Supervisor. I spoke with Mrs. Carter on the phone and she told me of the wonderful job Seth did. Along with his usual duties of installing a new dish, cleaning up all of the outside cable, and installing and explaining the new DVR, he went above and beyond. While completing the install, a heavy door began to fall off it’s hinges onto Mrs. Carter and Seth was able to pick it up off of her and place it in a safe place. Seth also was able to move a large heavy table leaf out of an area where the customer often tripped over it. Mrs. Carter made sure to let me know of Seth’s fantastic job so I believe he has earned recognition.

I just want to say that the technician you sent out today, to assist me with my issue, was very professional. The care and concern he showed me and my family is very rare and I would just like to say thank you. The technician you sent out today represented DIERCTV well and he should be commended. I have been dealing with Century Link for 6 months concerning my wireless modem and internet service. The only remedy they had was to keep sending me out a system and having me to connect it. This has caused issues with my DIRECTV and overages on my Verizon cell phone data plan. The Technician you sent out today assisted me with all of these issues and everything is working the way it should be. I am a DIRECTV customer for life and my technician is one of the reasons why. Thank you, DIRECTV!

I want to give my highest praise to technician Cody Miller #19191 for his outstanding work when installing DIRECTV at my home last week. He took every measure to make an installation of my TVs at the spots we wanted them. He worked quickly and tirelessly. He went into a very small crawl space that he barely could squeeze through and went into my attic several times. He was very cordial and respectful. Cody is the best technician I have ever seen.

Mr. Greg Smith came to our home on time, and after showing us his ID, he examined what the problem was and fixed it. He found the dish was blocked by trees. Mr. Smith moved the dish, grounded it properly and ran new cable from dish to the receiver drops and to the meter to ground, all in less than an hour. Mr. Smith was kind, courteous, and very knowledgeable. Thank you very much for sending Mr. Smith to us for our repairs.

Gene was so helpful. He went above and beyond his job. Our order was wrong and when he called to fix it, DIRECTV wanted to charge me $100. This wasn’t what we were previously told by DIRECTV, and the person on the phone was rude and hung up on me when I said I was going to switch to Dish. Gene made several calls; it took him an hour or more but, In the end, he got our order fixed like it was suppose to be. Thanks for sending him to us.

Corey went to a commercial job for Rockport Shoes in a large shopping mall. I believe the job had been turned down previously, but the notes said that the ODU had to be mounted to the frame of a roof HVAC unit which isn’t allowed. Corey got together with the business and building management to see if the job could be done. A job map, detailing exactly what’s going on with the building to get DIRECTV installed, needs to go thru corporate before any kind of work can be started. They went to the roof and Corey found a way to install a rail mount. It’s going to be a week or 2 before the final approval comes back, but Corey took his time to go the extra mile to help the customer get DIRECTV. They also want Corey to be the Installer knowing he’s the best of the best. Great Job, Corey, for taking your time to find a way.

He was very professional, stuck to his task, cleaned up all materials after and is the very first tech that ever buried the cable. He made sure I knew how to use my controller and all the things that was different form the old receiver. Very helpful.

I would like to take a few minutes to tell you about the service we received from your tech Roger Neal. I can’t say enough about the service he gave us. He listened to what problem we were having. He checked out our Internet setup and found out that we would get better service if we wired the Internet a different way. He stayed around to make sure that all of our other devices that were hooked up to the TV worked, and helped us setup the one that wasn’t working.

The customer service he showed us is what most companies are lacking. I can’t tell you how often we put up with bad service just because the price was good. Your company is an exception to the rule. Great service and a good price. Roger was an extremely knowledgeable tech and a very nice man. Roger didn’t leave until he was sure we were completely satisfied. I would give your company a very high score and recommendations to all of my friends. This is the kind of employee any company would love to have represent them. I don’t know if all of your tech are this great, but I’m glad that you sent us Roger Neal.

We were so glad when he got here and hooked up our Internet. We were totally confused on how to get it set up and he did it in a matter of minutes, and then checked all of our equipment to make sure everything was connected right. He even took the time to program two of our remotes that were not set up right. Thank you for doing those little extra things for us.

Travis was our installer over the weekend. He had an enormous task of changing over and correcting wires that had been neglected for years in this early 1900’s 23 room complex. He stuck with it all day for nearly 10 hours before completing the job. I would like to brag on him and the two other fellows that helped out, and let you know if all our interactions with your company continue this way we will remain proud DIRECTV customers for years to come!

The Trainee had been on the job only 3 weeks. In my opinion, DIRECTV could not have been luckier pairing him with Newton. Newton was probably as 1st class as you could get. I couldn’t believe the level of detail and professionalism he brought to the job. First, he spent 2 hours searching for a clear spot and the location he found couldn’t have been better. It required them to dig a 75′ trench up the house to run the cable through the basement.

Then when he determined the cable lines that were installed in the house were not sufficient to DIRECTV standards, he ran all new lines through the walls of the home.

He was an amazing technician…

We could not have gotten a better crew! I hope my congratulations reach the techs because they deserve the recognition. It was an outstanding job.

APRIL 2014

Thomas was so unexpectedly wonderful. I am happy to say our faith in DIRECTV is renewed. When he arrived early even, he had our TV back working in less than 15 seconds. Then spent the next more than 30 minutes answering our questions and talking with us.

Matt found the problem with our system; it was pointing into some trees. He then moved the dish and completely reran all the cable where it looks 100x neater now. After that, he explained to me that the system wasn’t “grounded” and why it needed to be, and then he did that work as well and told me my system was now up to code. This technician and his trainee were both very professional and courteous workers. Thank you for sending them out to my house. On Saturday, April 5, one of your Technicians visited my home to service my DIRECTV. In addition, I had previously spoken with you regarding the issue I was having.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and Austin for your commitment to exceptional service and customer relations. Austin was extremely polite and told me every step he would take while trying to resolve my satellite issues. Not only did he complete the service issue, but he went way beyond by addressing an outstanding issue that had been unresolved.

Austin’s attention to my problems will go a long way toward my keeping DIRECTV as my cable provider. I trust DIRECTV knows what classy men the two of you are. If not, have them call me. I will be glad to let them know.

I received a call from Ms. Taylor today to let me know she really appreciated Todd’s care and attentiveness while working on her house.

She stated that Todd listened to her concerns, devised a plan to fit her requests and walked her through it before starting his work.

Todd’s willingness to go that extra step and exhibit patience while listening to the customer’s concerns is a great example of what customer service is meant to look like.

I wanted to let you know how happy we were that Josh was the technician that came to our house. We were having an issue with our DVR, and not only was he able to replace that, but he also was able to replace cabling on the outside of our house just to make it look nicer. On top of all that, he also noticed out save the date card for our wedding and congratulated us and wished us luck on our marriage!!!

Very professional. I do daycare and he had to walk around kids and listen to them ask questions; he answered their questions and joked around with them. He explained everything and answered my questions, as well. Cleaned up after himself and was surprised all my lights got shut off when done. Great job, well done.

Gene was so helpful. He even helped the Charter guy run a line for our internet, so it could be where we needed it. And he waited for the cable guy to get done, so he could show us all the benefits of being connected even though he was done.

Excellent service performed by Luis. Extremely nice and helpful. Good sense of humor. Educated us about the problem and how to resolve the issue, if it occurs again.

We’ve always had good service from DIRECTRV. I’m pleased the technicians who responded to our call (we had a lightening strike) were DIRECTV employees instead of contractors. Happy employees reflect good management. There has evidently been change in management because the employees had the right tools and enough supplies to perform their job. It’s obvious DIRECTV has increased the technical staff and is making sure they have equipment to do their job.

We were very pleased the technicians were local instead of having to drive in from other areas. Even though DIRECTV is a national company, it’s nice to know local people are employed by the company.

What started out as an equipment replacement due to a lightening strike turned out to be a major overhaul to bring us up to DIRECTV current code.
The wiring strung between buildings was replaced with buried cable. The old satellite dish was replaced with a new one and relocated from the top of a building to ground level (not sure I like that; but, they were so darn nice about explaining why it had to happen that way so I couldn’t be upset about
it.) All the old wiring was replaced.

Jason (TX045564 lead tech) and Justin (TX047413 – in training) were very professional, both spoke kind words about working for DIRECTV, and they took every hurdle they came across out here with grace and dignity.

Employees such as these two exemplify the persona DIRECTV strives to maintain – customer friendly, professionals at all levels, and experience. I hope whoever reads this will give these two young men the recognition they deserve for a job well done. Our thanking them was one thing. Recognition from their employer validates their importance as a critical part of the customer service relationship.

We met Justin when he accompanied Jason (TX045564) to our ranch today. What was supposed to be an easy lightening strike equipment replacement turned into a complete overhaul to bring us up to DIRECTV’s code.

I put most of my comments under Jason (TX045564)about their exceptional customer service skills; however, Justin deserves separate notification because he is new to the company.

He spoke highly of the training both in the classroom and out in the field.
He was proud to be a DIRECTV employee. He said he supports the principles of the company to provide above average customer service.

He said his training class was quite large and it’s obvious (to me) that DIRECTV is finally staffing to use employees instead of contractors.
Employees buy-in and support a company more than paid contractors. Yes, there is a fine line; but, a line all the same.

Justin was so proud of the job he and Jason were doing for us today. It wasn’t anything he specifically said, although I was very interested in how he felt about DIRECTV as an employer because a happy employee normally is reflective of supportive management. He’s very happy in his decision to be a part of your team.

So, your management must be doing something different than they did a few years ago because the climate is different for your people in the field.
They had the right equipment and supplies for the job.

I think Justin is going to be even a more amazing member of your team as he gains more experience in the field. He already has the technical and customer service skills.

Kudos to young Justin and kudos to the new management who is making it easier for the technicians to do their job which directly impact customer service.

David arrived on time. He showed his ID and was very professional. David explained all the features that the genie was capable of doing. David also explained the protection plan that is offered by DIRECTV. David also explained the refer a friend program that allows me to get a $100 credit on my account.

DIRECTV tech did a great job. He got my Pandora back working and now I can watch trailers on movies before I rent them.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the technician that installed DIRECTV on my income property on February 30, 2014. He was courteous, professional, and most importantly he took the time to do an excellent job. I am very grateful for his work ethic and diligence and wanted to let you know that he is an excellent representative for your company.

Note – I am the property owner at this address. My tenant, Cher Binnett, ordered DIRECTV.

Just met your technician, Jamarkus Hodges, this afternoon and was very pleased. We had been without service 2 days before calling DIRECTV Technical Support. Jamarkus arrived on site promptly, as we had arranged over the phone. He was professional and demonstrated expertise in the way he promptly assessed the problem and quickly resolved the issue. He went over and beyond by assisting our staff with questions they had about DIRECTV. What a truly refreshing experience dealing with Jamarkus. We truly appreciate his expert knowledge and excellent customer service.

The customer called me and said Wayne Libbrecht(26980) went beyond what he expected while at his house. Said Wayne wore his booties over his shoes, he was very polite, knowledgeable, and spent extra time teaching him the new features of his system and showed him a few extra things he never knew about. Such as the ability to set quick favorite channels in using the up arrow. Customer said Wayne exceeded his expectations based on other service men he has had in his house including other businesses.

Matt was an extraordinary tech. The weather was atrocious, and Matt and Jeff persevered to not only install new equipment but also cleared old DIRECTV and cable remnants. He answered every question I asked, and answered with specific and clear detail. He was extremely professional and personable. He made the process enjoyable and easy to follow. If I could, I would recommend Matt to any DIRECTV customer in the area.

On February 23, 2014, we were scheduled to have the DIRECTV Whole-Home DVR Service installed with an additional (2) HD DVR’s and (1) standard receiver to our existing Genie. On Sunday, February 25, 2014, Multiband technician, Curtis George, installed the swim 16, hooked up the (2) HD DVR’s, showed us how to use the remotes to get exactly what we wanted from the whole home serve, and overall was a great gentleman. He was very respectful and patient as we asked a lot of questions. I would like for him to be acknowledged for his professionalism representing your company. Rarely do you see this from a young gentleman, these days. Thank you.

The installer was very knowledgeable and did a very nice job. He was very concerned about our house and the way things were done; wanted to make sure he did it right, to our satisfaction. We were very pleased with his work ethic.

Jon was the most helpful and competent technician that I have ever encountered in the cable – TV installation world. We had a very difficult installation and needed to dismount a built-in TV that weighed about 60 pounds. He and I spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out how to accomplish this. We also had a very unusual remote set up for our master bedroom and he was able to understand it and figured out how to replace the cable box.

He was very thorough and skillful. I could not have been happier.

Dominique got my TV going fine today. He is a fine young man and I think a great asset to your company. He called in advance. He arrived on-time. He properly identified himself. I have never done this before but I received such exceptional service from one of your employees, Johnathan Riley, that I made him give me your email address so I could let you know. I know people are really quick to complain about service but don’t always let those in charge know when the service is good.

The first thing that impressed me was that he was on time (actually, he was a little early). Secondly, when he came in, I told him that circumstances had changed since I placed the order. I found out last week that my daughter and her fiancé will be moving in with me and I asked him if we could change up the work order to do a whole home genie. He said no problem and got on the phone to change the work order. After talking to customer service and due to the price constraints (It was going to cost me about $200), I chose not to do this. He then figured out that by moving a couple of the boxes that I already had, he could make it work. I’m not exactly sure how he did it, but I now have everything I wanted on all of my TVs. Thirdly, he checked, and found out that my satellite dish was not in the most optimal position. He took the time to move the dish to a place where I will get the least interference. I doubt that there are many technicians who would volunteer to do this.

Being in management myself, I know how hard it is to find quality, courteous, conscientious employees and just wanted to let you know what a great job Johnathan did.

Dan came out and did a great job re-installing our DIRECTV. We should have never switched, but having an employee like Dan is why we like DIRECTV so much. He put up a new dish since the roofers bent the old one. He even programmed all the remotes to work on all our TVs. Thanks for going the extra mile to ensure everything was working the way it should.

Mr. Watkins came to our home to figure out why one of the TVs wasn’t working, why one of them quit recording, and if one of our outlets was working OK. He discovered that the receptacle for the first TV had a problem with the coax end. He changed the end and the TV is working OK. The second TV, which is our main TV had a problem with the DIRECTV box. He replaced it with one he had on the truck, and it seems to be working OK. This box was just replaced last summer for other problems that we were having with it. Mike checked the outside recpt and it is working OK as well. Mike was very personal and easy to talk to. He explained everything that he was doing and gave me some pointers on how to test my coax in the future. He worked quickly and was very tidy with the parts that he removed. When he first arrived, he showed my wife and I his badge so we knew that he was an authorized DIRECTV tech. We feel that he did a very good job for us and maybe went beyond our expectations. We would most certainly recommend him to others and would want him to come again if we have future problems.

Your tech came out to help me in a BAD snow and I am so very thankful! I did not want to not have DIRECTV. When you say 99% reliable you really mean it no matter what the weather your guys have to work in. He did a great job and fixed me right up.

I’m a new customer and Thomas made me love my new DIRECTV already! He showed my so many new things and channels I’m sure I won’t remember everything. He was very helpful and did a great job! He is the best and he hooked up my DIRECTV on demand which is perfect.

Our technician went above and beyond our expectations. He took the time to make sure all of our receivers and remotes were working properly and he updated and fixed our equipment that was not working properly and he fixed all of our remotes. He did an excellent job and we were very happy and satisfied with his work and his customer service.

Having Justin McGee as a tech to help with DIRECTV was a very pleasant experience. After all the complications we were experiencing, he came in and fixed our problems and gave us some wonderful advice on other possible problems that we could have. He gave us answers to questions we did not even know we needed to ask. He was patient and used layman terms that allowed us to understand technology. I would highly recommend him for situations where the customer does not have a lot of information/knowledge about technology in general. He was always polite and respectful in our home. I cannot say enough good things about this young man. If you ask me if I could say about any weaknesses that Justin has I could not think of one. This was a good way to end an unpleasant event.

Mr. Wilber called to advise that he had the best experience he has ever encountered when it comes to TV installations. Joshua displayed professionalism, quality that was well beyond the expectations, spent an hour going over every detail in regards to the genie system, making sure that Mr. Wilber understood and demonstrated back how to operate they system. His knowledge and desire to be superior at what he does really makes him special to his customers, being just 1 customer that has been involved with his manner, I’m sure they all get the same perspective, treatment and outcome. He is an asset to your company and an exceptional technician, and man.

Jodie Whipple was out at our house yesterday doing some service work for us. I just wanted you to know what a valuable employee you have. Jodie is very thorough in his job. He makes sure everything is up to DIRECTV standards and that our problem was resolved while being very professional and courteous. This is the second time he has been out and each time we couldn’t be more pleased with the service he provided!

Customer Roslyn Alexander wanted to recognize Derek for his customer service today. Mrs. Alexander said that Derek was very professional and delightful to work with. She had called in with questions on her billing, and Derek was able to answer her questions and help her out.

I had an appointment today (1-3-2014) with your technician, Erick Rodriguez. I just wanted to send an email and let you know that he did a great job while completing my upgrade. The tech seemed very knowledgeable about DIRECTV products. Of course he was very professional and courteous while in my house. Thanks again, DIRECTV for the awesome service.

Just wanted to take a minute to tell you how much I appreciated the service of D’Marcus with DIRECTV. For many years I was in business for myself and had many employees. The years brought experience in the ability to recognize an individual that would be an asset to my company. D’Marcus is one that I would be proud to have as a member of my team. He was timely, informative, polite, professional and on course making sure my install/upgrade was complete to perfection. I had a great experience with this technician he did excellent looking work outside as well as on the inside, he covered all bases. He checked every wall plate made sure the connectors were good and gave me thorough customer education he deserves the 10. If ever I have problems I hope he comes back and check it for me thank you all.

What a wonderful job Daniel has done at my residence. He took his time and made the cable and dish look good outside. Also took his time on educating me about the DIRECTV.

Technician troubleshooted our connectivity, infrastructure, and equipment and found incompatibility in all areas and fixed or replaced what was necessary. After 10 years with DIRECTV, by far the most thorough employee that’s entered our home. We are completely satisfied.

I informed Jim, Lawrence, and Andrew each that I had an appointment in Longview Monday afternoon and needed to be there by 5:30 PM. (Jim and Lawrence arrived at my home at approximately 3:15 to 3:30). Andrew later arrived at my home and helped with the installation.

I was very impressed with the professionalism exhibited by each of these three technicians. I had very specific requests in the installation of the system in my home, each of which were satisfied. Jim, Lawrence and Andrew worked expeditiously and as a team in setting up the system and my televisions.

I cannot tell you how nice it was to have these three technicians respond to my needs as a customer. Each of them were sensitive to my requests in installation as well as my time constraints. After everything was installed, these three men also took special care to ensure that there was no mess remaining from the installation process.

I write this email to commend the three men who responded to my ’special needs’ installation to the point in which it allowed me to meet my appointment. These three men truly cared about their customer and did a wonderful job. I hope that my future experiences with DIRECTV customer service will involve DIRECTV representatives as concerned about their customers as Jim George, Andrew Thornton, and Lawrence Burns. These three men displayed a work ethic that is rarely seen anymore. I truly appreciated their work ethic in installing satellite service in my home and hope that their work ethic will be recognized and appreciated by others.

I was doing a Quality Check on the new install done by Danny. The customers came out to speak with me during this. They wanted to make sure that I knew that Danny went above and beyond with their install. Not only did he install the job to all requirements of our standards, the customer was very happy with the neat and clean appearance of the install. They also stated that they were very pleased with his manner and the way he fully explained the install before beginning the job. And most importantly they were very impressed with the amount of customer education he gave them. They were an older couple and stated that it was a bit difficult for them but he stayed until they were sure about use of the equipment even though it was very late. It was 9 pm before the tech closed the job and left the residence. This level of customer education shows a great dedication to customer service.

Thomas Payne called me after Adam Patterson left his home to tell me what an outstanding job he did. Mr. Payne lives in a mobile home park and DIRECTV had the wrong phone number and no lot number on the work order. Adam went out of his way to find the lot number and showed up to get the job done. The customer also stated that he was very professional and did an outstanding job on showing him how to use his new DIRECTV equipment.

The service call I had today was awesome! As soon as I called there was a technician there the same day. He explained I needed my dish aligned. He did the work and was very polite. Great job and thanks!

Thank you very much for sending Jodie Whipple out this morning to do a DIRECTV installation for us. This young man was quick to show me his name tag, and respectfully put on his blue slippers before ever coming into our home.

He was careful, thorough, and answered all of our questions. He even was able to move an extra receiver for us, that we had decided we wanted to keep so we could enjoy DIRECTV in our kitchen.

On top of all the basics, Jodie used an under cabinet mount for us with the new receiver, and worked as best he could to help us remove the clutter of wires to a less conspicuous location, leaving things looking better as well as functioning better.

There was a problem with our Whole Home service not getting authorized, and he had to make a few calls to get that accomplished, but he did not leave until all three of our units were up and running well – with the whole home feature running smoothly. He even labeled the different remotes so we would know which unit to use them with.

Colleen called to say that Linn did a really fantastic job. She said he had a great personality and wanted to let us know that we made a great choice in hiring him!

The tech was very professional. He showed his ID at the door as soon as he walked up. When I told him the problem he said he was sure he knew what was wrong and was correct his first try. He had us back in service in no time. Every technician should be as knowledgeable. He is a credit to your company.

Very good job at servicing my DIRECTV. Replaced my DVR and explained using an external hard drive In future so I don’t lose my recordings. Thank you for rehooking up my Internet for DIRECTV. We could not figure it out!

Calvin said that Shannon came out to his home and had to work a good part of the day to restore service to his home. It was a holiday(Christmas) and Shannon went above and beyond. He said he did a wonderful job and he really appreciated it especially on a holiday. Thanks, Shannon.

Robert arrived at my home yesterday, 12/29/2013 for a scheduled appointment arranged by DIRECTV. As with many of my dealings with DIRECTV, this appointment was set after several calls to them in which they sent me the wrong equipment or gave me the wrong information. Although DIRECTV gave me a four hour window, Robert contacted me and narrowed it down to a 15 minute window. Because of my many dealings with DIRECTV, I was very annoyed when Robert arrived. In spite of this, Robert was very patient and understanding. He answered all of my questions patiently and professionally. He also stood in my driveway, in the rain and cold for 45 minutes while on hold with DIRECTV. He listened to my ranting but never said anything derogatory about DIRECTV or your fine organization. He remained professional and courteous throughout. Had Mr. Grissom handed me my equipment and moved on to a more lucrative installation, I would have completely understood. Because he took the time to completely explain all options, I had no problems with my installation and am a much happier customer. (I was very close to canceling my account after 19 years!)

Kasey Hanson wanted to recognize Tamara for her customer service today. She said that this was one of the best customer service experiences she has ever had with trying to get her service set up and she said that Tamara was excellent.
